The Caring Connections Ministry exists to mentor women in the greater Raleigh area who feel overwhelmed and alone as they face barriers of poverty, substance misuse recovery, re-entry after justice involvement, or underemployment alone. Caring Connections operates from the belief no woman should ever feel alone. The mission is to equip women with essential skills that lead to self-sufficiency through a personal mentoring relationship that provides support, hope, and guidance.
The McCullers congregation believes it is biblical to give people a hand up and not a handout. The idea of providing women with the essential life skills to become self-sufficient and to serve as a stabilizing presence in their lives is consistent with the teachings of Jesus. In this way, we can share God’s love and grace in a meaningful way.
The Caring Connections ministry gives women guidance to set and achieve their goals, provides them with guidance along the way, and pours hope into their lives. McCullers supports Caring Connections through financial assistance, personal involvement, and through prayer. You are most welcome to join us in bringing hope to women who are seeking to improve their way of life.
